
Saying you are or planning to be a disruptive teacher sounds like a strange idea because we often see the word disruption as a negative thing. However if we look at the definition we can see it as positive too. I want to be disruptive in an innovative way by finding ways to disrupt my own thinking and challenge my habits as a teacher. By doing this I hope that it will improve the way that the students in my class learn and ensure that I do not get stuck in my ways.
So this year my aim is to be a disruptive teacher and share how I am doing it. Hopefully I won’t be alone and some of you can join me by sharing your experiences too.
